Alice in Wonderland

Exhibition Design Oficina Cerâmica Cotidiano is a pottery atelier situated in Southern Brazil.

Oficina Cerâmica Cotidiano is a ceramic and art school for kids between the ages of 5 and 14 years old. The art center belongs to a previous client, Cerâmica Cotidiano, only this time the goal was to create the whole concept, visual language and the production cycle for the annual exhibition to promote the place. A completely new project from an existing client. The chosen theme for the exhibition was "Alice in Wonderland," which was chosen because the book celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2015. The school explored the theme with its students, and the design project included: invitation, printed & digital catalogs, social media promotion and the signage and design for the exhibition.

Invitation art used for printed and digital formats.

Sample spreads from the printed catalog. The design was built up through drawings done by the children, photos taken of their work that were color corrected, as well as a running narrative explaining the project and bits of wisdom from Lewis Carroll's masterpiece.

Sample pages from the digital catalog. The client has over 800 facebook followers, so it was vital that the project could reach them in a financially viable way.

A series of digital and printed posters were created that were based on the book's most famous quotes. These were designed to promote the exhibition.

Vinyl application on walls at the exhibition. The information was set lower to the ground than usual, so that small children would be at optimal reading height.
