Please note: My work as a designer does not necessarily reflect my personal political views. In collaborating with mission-driven organizations—particularly those focused on advocacy and fundraising—I approach each project first and foremost as a creative professional committed to excellence in design and strategy.
Annie’s List is an important Texan organization which advocates for women’s rights such as equal pay for equal work, sexual harassment in the workplace, prevention of sexual violence against women and children.
My role as Art Director at Annie’s List was to lead the creative department, working closely with team members and outside vendors and project managers to create and develop the brand voice, look and feel of all visual material that represented the organization. Our team was directly responsible for the generation of millions of dollars in fundraising, through both physical and virtual fundraising campaigns and events, and helped elect 100s of women to seats of power in local and National political races. This work covered a wide gamut of platforms and media, including digital, print, social, web, and worked closely with the UX team to build out assets at scale across the many platforms that Annie’s List remains active.
