ATTENTION PLEASE: my work as a designer does not, necessarily, represent my personal political views, while working for a digital and physical fundraising event based organization at this nature, I am first and far most a professional that serves the creative industry.*

Annie’s List fights for women’s rights, and helps get women elected to office that can advocate for what is in the best interest of women’s bodies. Representational democracy happens when everyone has a seat at the table. Currently, 80% of the Texas legislature is made up of men who are making laws about women’s reproductive choices, while not paying attention to things that impact women and their families. Like equal pay for equal work, sexual harassment in the workplace, prevention of sexual violence against women and children, and supporting high quality public education.

My role as Art Director* at Annie’s List was to lead the creative department, working closely with team members and outside vendors and project managers to create and develop the brand voice, look and feel of all visual material that represented the organization. Our team was directly responsible for the generation of millions of dollars in fundraising, through both physical and virtual fundraising campaigns and events, and helped elect 100s of women to seats of power in local and National political races. This work covered a wide gamut of platforms and media, including digital, print, social, web, and worked closely with the UX team to build out assets at scale across the many platforms that Annie’s List remains active.
